His Excellency Eng. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Sultan, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, and CEO of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), expressed heartfelt congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, on the Kingdom’s successful bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.

His Excellency commended the contributions of various official agencies in the Kingdom, emphasizing their coordinated efforts in preparing a bid that earned global admiration and successfully achieved the Kingdom’s aspiration to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
He highlighted the key roles played by the Ministry of Sports, under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, and the 2034 FIFA World Cup Bid File Unit. His Excellency noted that their collective performance was instrumental in this remarkable success, embodying the Kingdom’s bid slogan, “Growing Together”.
His Excellency concluded: “Riyadh, alongside cities across the Kingdom, stands fully prepared to deliver an exceptional and unprecedented tournament. With half of the championship matches set to take place in eight world-class stadiums in Riyadh, this global event will showcase the Kingdom’s vision for a prosperous future – one we are shaping with confidence and determination.”
