A French delegation led by His Excellency Mr. Jean-Yves Le Drian, President of the French Agency for AlUla Development, and Personal Representative of the President of the French Republic, visited the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC).
H.E. Mr. Le Drian, who is on a visit to the Kingdom, was received by Eng. Fahad bin Saleh, Assistant to the CEO of RCRC, along with other senior officials.
During the visit, the French delegation was briefed on RCRC’s role in orchestrating the growth and development of the Kingdom’s capital, its transformative journey as part of Vision 2030, and the city’s key contribution to diversifying Saudi Arabia’s economy.
Riyadh is creating world-class infrastructure and services to enhance the quality of life of residents and visitors to become one of the best metropolises globally.
As part of the presentation, RCRC officials shared with the French delegation Riyadh’s development roadmap and projects, such as Riyadh Art, an ambitious program involving 1,000 art installations and two annual festivals to transform the city into an art gallery without walls.
Finally, the delegation was also briefed on the Riyadh Expo 2030 project, under the theme ‘The Era of Change: Together for a Foresighted Tomorrow’, and the opportunities this global event creates for international companies.
