The Royal Commission for Riyadh City participated in the World Conference on Smart Cities held in Barcelona, a leading global event in the field of cities and urban innovation, and a collaborative platform that contributes to enabling cities to face current and future challenges, by promoting social innovation, establishing partnerships and identifying commercial and investment opportunities.
In collaboration with Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SADAI), RCRC showcased Riyadh’s ongoing iconic smart city, infrastructure, and sustainability projects at a booth at the Barcelona congress venue. At the booth, RCRC also highlighted Saudi Arabia’s bid to host World Expo 2030 in the capital city of Riyadh.
The World Conference on Smart Cities is an annual event held this year in Barcelona from 7-9 November and was attended by delegations from the private sector, government agencies and organizations, with the aim of joint work and cooperation to transform cities towards a better future.
