Clay Architecture and Construction Technique with Compacted Soil (English version)

An English-language research paper by Satprem Maïni, Director of Auroville Institute of Soil Building, India, entitled “Clay Architecture and Compressed Soil Building Techniques”. The publication of this paper comes within the framework of the commission’s interest in spreading modern technologies for building with local soil, which it applied in the construction of Al-Maadi Mosque, located in King Abdulaziz Historical Center, and is considered one of the first architectural facilities in the Kingdom in which construction is applied using local clay materials (compressed clay) according to modern specialized scientific foundations.
