Qasr Al-Hukm District will host the official metropolitan celebrations of Eid Al-Fitr, organized by the High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh (HCDR).
According to head of Urban Development Department in the High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh, Engr. Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Rukban, festivities of Eid Al-Fitr (1438H), organized by the HCDR in «Qasr Al-Hukm District», enjoy generous support from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, HRH Crown Prince, HRH Deputy Crown Prince, HRH Prince Faisal Bin Bandar Bin Abdulaziz, Riyadh Governor, and HRH Prince Muhammad bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Vice-Governor of Riyadh Region.
Activities for all
Eng. Al-Rukban pointed out that the celebration’s program this year is comprehensive, and features diverse social, recreational and cultural activities that would please all residents and visitors of the capital during the three days of Eid Al-Fitr (between 4:00 pm and 12:00 AM).
Saudi ‘Adrah…a lasting historical value
Al-Rukban confirmed that the Saudi ‘Adrah and folkloric performances will be present alongside the visual and sound effects to delight the visitors.
Thumairi Avenue
According to Al-Rukban, the live shows, productive families’ kiosks, food trucks and mobile cafes will also bring carnival atmosphere to Al-Thumairi Street (Al-Thumairi Avenue) during the celebrations.
Entertainment activities for families and children
Al-Rukban referred that the festivities will include activities for the family and children, including a musical play, “Dome of Happiness” event, and others.
Moreover, the visitors will get the opportunity to visit Al-Masmak Palace and learn about its history, culture and heritage.
