The High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh organized a workshop on the Follow-up Program for Riyadh Region Project at the Cultural Palace, Diplomatic Quarter, with the participation of 67 government agencies involved in development projects in the Region.
The gathering discussed the Program’s key upgrades and the new tools used in the follow-up system, including the cameras, provided by the concerned bodies, to monitor the progress achieved in projects and integrating the inputs into the Program.
The Follow-up Program for Riyadh Region Projects issues an annual report to serve as a follow-up tool for Riyadh Region projects, and provide a comprehensive overview on development situation in the Region. The report is submitted to HRH Governor of Riyadh (Chainman of the High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh), and the Participating agencies.
Information System for Riyadh Region Projects is the executive tool for the Follow-up Program. It is an automatic system with a database that allows representatives of the concerned agencies to regularly enter/update all data about their projects and plans.
According to the 10th edition of the Follow-up Program report, the region has 4638 government, semi-government, private and charitable projects totally worth SAR 460 billion.
