A French delegation led by His Excellency Mr. Jean-Yves Le Drian, President of the ‎French Agency for AlUla Development, and Personal Representative of the President of ‎the French Republic, visited the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC).‎

H.E. Mr. Le Drian, who is on a visit to the Kingdom, was received by Eng. Fahad bin ‎Saleh, Assistant to the CEO of RCRC, along with other senior officials. ‎

During the visit, the French delegation was briefed on RCRC’s role in orchestrating the ‎growth and development of the Kingdom’s capital, its transformative journey as part of ‎Vision 2030, and the city’s key contribution to diversifying Saudi Arabia’s economy. ‎

Riyadh is creating world-class infrastructure and services to enhance the quality of life of ‎residents and visitors to become one of the best metropolises globally. ‎

As part of the presentation, RCRC officials shared with the French delegation Riyadh’s ‎development roadmap and projects, such as Riyadh Art, an ambitious program involving ‎‎1,000 art installations and two annual festivals to transform the city into an art gallery ‎without walls. ‎

Finally, the delegation was also briefed on the Riyadh Expo 2030 project, under the ‎theme ‘The Era of Change: Together for a Foresighted Tomorrow’, and the opportunities ‎this global event creates for international companies.‎
