ADA exhibits its traffic management programs at the «32nd GCC Traffic Week»
The High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh has participated with a pavilion in the exhibition accompanying the «32nd GCC Traffic Week», which was launched by HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh, on March 13, 2016 at Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center under the theme: “your decision determines your destiny”.
During his visit to ADA pavilion, HRH Prince Faisal listened to a presentation by Engr. Abdulaziz bin Abdulmohsen Al-Ghannam, head of ADA department of strategic studies, on the ongoing metropolitan traffic management programs, particularly the project of “Traffic Signals Management and Control System in Riyadh”, currently deployed by ADA, in cooperation with Riyadh Traffic Department and other concerned agencies.
Another presentation also focused on Delilat Arriyadh app, which was launched by the High Commission as part of the Traffic Diversions Management Plan – of King Abdulaziz Project for Riyadh Public Transport (Metro & Buses) – to spread the culture of pre-trip planning, and ease the traffic flow in the vicinity of the project’s work locations.
ADA participation in the «32nd GCC Traffic Week» highlights its commitment to boosting traffic safety in Riyadh, as outlined in its «Riyadh Traffic Safety Strategy», which is also implemented in collaboration with Riyadh Traffic Department and the concerned government agencies in the city.
