On 28/01/2016, engineering faculty students of King Saud University visited San’ah TBM location as part of the Student Visits’ Program, organized by ADA to spread awareness about King Abdulaziz Public Transport Project in Riyadh, and the benefits it offers to the city and its residents in all aspects of life.
During the visit, the students listened to a presentation on the project components and benefits.
Later, ADA’s team escorted the students in a tour at San’ah TBM location. After listening to a detailed explanation about the site’s security and safety procedures, the students put on the safety gear and moved along the TBM tunnel via special trailers that allowed them to explore the tunnel’s components.
At the end of the tunnel, the participants watched the modern technologies and multiple functions of the giant TBM (San’ah), which causes no vibration or noise to the surface while working.
