This book addresses the second phase of the development program of the Qasr al-Hukm area and its components, which include Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque, its annexed buildings, the Square of Justice, Safat Square, Imam Muhammad bin Saud Square, Masmak Square, the two gates of Al-Thumairi, Dukhna, Dirah Tower and parts of the Old Wall, in addition to public facilities, some streets and some commercial and office facilities.

The book also reviews the planning work prepared for the start of the third phase of the program, which targeted the land surrounding the other two phases. The private sector played a key role in its implementation, while the Commission retained responsibly for providing the area with public facilities and services, as well as planning, managing development and delivering some work aimed at improving the district’s appearance and encouraging development.
