The Riyadh Urban Observatory works to monitor and evaluate development trends through a methodology that addresses the city as a comprehensive analytical unit based on the participation of all sectors and results in urban indicators that contribute to monitoring, implementing, and developing policies that lead the city towards sustainable urban development. The report of urban indicators for Riyadh city for the year 1438H includes a wide range of global and local indicators that reflect the specificity of Riyadh city and the priorities of the authority, in addition to the priorities and pivotal issues of the entities participating in the observatory. The Observatory aims to find appropriate solutions and sustainable urban monitoring systems to support planning work, link indicator results to policies, help build capacity and stimulate and facilitate the partnership process between the various sectors operating in the city.
