RCRC has adopted the protection, rehabilitation, and development of Wadi Hanifa, and made it one of its priorities due to the wadi’s importance in this area and the potential it offers to attract diverse investments. The valley, with its diverse and sprawling habitat from the north to the south of Riyadh, is an amazing natural retreat and destination for citizens.

This publication outlines the environmental rehabilitation journey of the Wadi Hanifa Project, beginning with an investigation into the causes of its deterioration, the plans set out by the Commission to halt this deterioration, and ending with the comprehensive plan for Wadi Hanifa and the establishment of the environmental rehabilitation of the valley.
