The UK’s top-ranked King’s College is to open an international school in Riyadh this year as part of a partnership with the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC). King’s College will be the first school to open under RCRC’s flagship International Schools Attraction Program, launched in cooperation with the Kingdom’s Ministries of Education and Investment.
“As part of our city’s strategy to enhance the education sector, our partnership with the Ministry of Education along with the Ministry of Investment reflects commitment to providing education and learning opportunities for Saudi and foreign students. Also, this step comes in line with the ambitious Saudi Vision 2030, and RCRC’s strategy to build on Riyadh’s position as the regional economic powerhouse in becoming one of the world’s top ten cities, and one of the most prominent in quality of life, tourism, and services by 2030,” said HE Mr. Fahd Bin Abdulmohsen Bin Saleh Al-Rasheed, RCRC CEO.

Bringing 140 years of outstanding British education to Riyadh, the new school will serve students from KG to Grade 12, benefitting from access to the King’s College international network of teachers and prestigious alumni, including Nobel laureates, world leaders, policymakers, Olympians, authors and musicians.
UK Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Neil Crompton, said that the announcement proves the strong relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom in the education sector.
